1930 Coal Mine(新疆焦煤(集团)有限责任公司一九三〇煤矿) is an underground mine located in Aiweier Valley, Daban District, Urumqi City, Xinjiang, China.[1]

Coal Mine Background

In 2012, 1930 Coal Mine prepared a preliminary design for the 1.5Mt/a reconstruction and expansion project of the mine. The design was approved by the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Coal Industry Administration in October 2012. According to the design and approval, the mine is a coal and gas outburst mine.[2] In May 2021, the mine's reconstruction and expansion project was undergoing a joint trial operation.[3] As of June 30, 2022, the mine has been included in the list of operating coal mines in Xinjiang.[4]
