Background

In 2021, ACC Limited proposed the construction of a standalone cement grinding unit with cement production capacity of 3 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) at Salai Banwa, Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh, India. The plant is expected to get commissioned by FY26 end. As of January 2025, 50% civil work has been completed.
