Background
The project was initially set to begin in 2024, however the 2025 Plinovodi Developement Plan listed the projects start sdate as between 2025 and 2028. Right of way procurement for the project was underway in 2024.[4] A facebook post from the Municipality of Sežana indicated that they expected construction work to be underway in their municipality in July 2025.[5]
