Background
In October 2017, Anambra Gas-Fired IPP Company Limited was registered.[4] The company intends to commence with the initial scheme, which is to install a 124 MW plant alongside the development of the gas field. This ensures delivery of a constant Net Electrical output of 100 MW on a 132 KV voltage level to the TCN Transmission station at Agu-Awka.[8] The company plans to install 1,000 MW that will feed locally and internationally.[8]
