Background

Anpara-E power station is located some distance from the other Anpara power stations: Anpara power station, Anpara-C power station, and Anpara-D power station. Anpara-E received environmental clearance in 2012.[1]

In March 2015 the Chief Minister said construction on Anpara-E would begin soon.[2]

As of April 2015 the project is not listed as under construction by the India government,[3] nor in March 2016.[4]

With no developments since 2012, the project appears to be abandoned.
