Background on Project

Anshan Cogen power station is a proposed 2 x 350 MW supercritical coal plant for Anshan Prefecture, sponsored by China Resources.[1]

According to a May 2021 city planning document, the coal plant is planned for construction in the second half of 2021.[2]
