Aral Xinhu Cogen power station (新疆阿拉尔市新沪热电) is an operating power station of at least 800-megawatts (MW) in Aral, Xinjiang, China. It is also known as 阿拉尔盛源热电厂 (Phase II Unit 3, Phase II Unit 4).

Background on Project

The first two units of the power station of 50 MW each was built in 2008 in in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. In 2012 it was reported that there were plans for two more units of 350 MW each.[1][2][3]

Units 3-4 began operating in 2014.[4]
