The Auraiya IGCC power station was a proposed 300 megawatt (MW) coal-fired power station to be built at the existing Auraiya power station at Auraiya, in Uttar Pradesh, India.

The project was jointly sponsored proposed by NTPC and BHEL. [1]

2009: Project "stalled"

According to February 2009 reports, the project was "stalled" due to "an alleged dispute between the two firms about intellectual property rights."[2]
