Baoshan Works power station (宝钢集团自备电厂) is an operating power station of at least 1050-megawatts (MW) in Baoshan, Shanghai, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating. It is also known as 上海宝山发电厂, 中煤宝山2×650MW超超临界煤电(煤气掺烧)替代扩建项目.

Background

Baoshan Works power station is a three-unit power station totaling 1,050 MW. It was commissioned in 1980 to 1988, and is owned by China Baowu Steel Group. It also has one 150 MW gas-fired unit.[2]
