Baotou Works power station (包钢鑫能公司新建2×350MW超超临界智慧热电联产机组, 包钢自备电厂, 包钢股份余压余气节能减排CCPP项目) is an operating power station of at least 530-megawatts (MW) in Baotou Iron & Steel Rare Earth plant, Hondlon (Kundulun), Baotou, Inner Mongolia, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating.

Background

Baotou Works power station is a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 200 MW. The power station was completed in 2001, and is owned by Baogang Group. It powers Baogang's Baotou rare earth plant.[4]
