Batu Hijau power station is a 112-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power station located at the Batu Hijau copper and gold mine in Maluk, Sumbawa Barat, the province of West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.[1][2]

Background
The Batu Hijau power station provides electricity solely for mining operations at the Batu Hijau copper and gold mine. The 112 MW coal plant is supported by nine diesel-powered generators. The plant uses approximately 500,000 tons of coal per year, 70% of which is supplied by PT Adaro Energy Tbk, with the remaining 30% supplied by PT Kideco Jaya Agung, a subsidiary of PT Indika Energy Tbk.[3]
