The proposed Batura coal mine project is a cluster of mine including Batura Opecast mine of 3 MTPA and Batura Highwall (a hybrid of opencast and underground mining) mine of 0.675 MTPA on a lease area of 967.473 Ha and 420.975 ha, respectively, to be operated by South Eastern Coalfields Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India, located in Districts Shahdol and Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh, India.[1][2]

The proposed Batura coal mine project is a cluster of mine including Batura Opecast mine of 3 MTPA and Batura Highwall (a hybrid of opencast and underground mining) mine of 0.675 MTPA on a lease area of 967.473 Ha and 420.975 ha, respectively, to be operated by South Eastern Coalfields Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India, located in Districts Shahdol and Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh, India.
