Background

The Project, proposed by mining corporation Bitzero, would draw power from the Seli's Ksanka Qlispe' Dam on the Flathead Indian Reservation, south of Polson, Montana. The proposed operation would consume roughly one quarter of the dam's 208 MW capacity.[1] The dam is owned by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes via its company Energy Keepers.[2]
