Background
GEN Group's 2019 annual report announced the start of construction on unit 7.[11] Units 6 and 7 are planned to replace aging units 1-3.[9] Unit 7 (PB7) commenced operation in June of 2021, reportedly replacing PB1, PB2 and PB3.[12]
