Background
EmberClear hired Gemma Power Solutions for the construction of the power project. In March 2022, local union workers in Harrison County, Ohio area were still seeking work for construction of the project in hopes of energizing the local economy.[2] As of November 2022, commercial operations were slated for Q1 2024.[4] EmberClear has plans for a hydrogen production facility and storage in it's future plans.[4] Cadiz Power Plant is trying to ensure long term viability of the gas plant by adopting integrated hydrogen solution packages from Mitsubishi Power. The "Hydaptive" package from Mitsubishi Power intended for the plant focuses on site integration from electrolyzers to the gas turbines.
