Background
Cangzhou LNG Terminal (金建佳沧州LNG接收站), also called the Huanghua Port LNG Terminal (黄骅港LNG接收站).
The project received a positive environmental impact assessment (EIA) in December 2019.[6] The project was reportedly listed into Hebei Province Energy Development 13the Five Year Plan.[7]
As of June 2022, there had been no reported progress in two years, and it was temporarily considered shelved.[8]
In October 2022, the project began public review on the seashore use application, indicating continuous development of the project.[9]
However, no further news after that. The project is considered shelved as of 2024.
