Background on Project

China Resources has proposed a 2 x 350 MW combined heat and power coal plant for Cang County. It was permitted for construction in December 2015.[1]

Construction started in December 2017.[2] Planet satellite photos show construction progress from December 2017 to November 2019.

Unit 1 was commissioned in April 2020.[3] Unit 2 was commissioned in August 2020.[4]
