Background on Project

China Resources has proposed a 2 x 350 MW combined heat and power coal plant for Cang County. It was permitted for construction in December 2015.

Construction started in December 2017. Planet satellite photos show construction progress from December 2017 to November 2019.

Unit 1 was commissioned in April 2020. Unit 2 was commissioned in August 2020.
