Background

In May 2017, Beijing Energy Group and the Government of Caofeidian District in Tangshan signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly develop an LNG terminal and a natural gas power generation in Caofeidian Industrial Park. [1][2]

No further activities since then. The plan appears being abandoned.
