Background

As of 2020, the mine was producing only about 5,000 of coal per month (that's about 60,000 per year).

The mines of Pervomaiskugol jointly produced 0.17 Mt in 2021.

The mine was under fire of the Russian attackers in the spring of 2022 and stopped operations. As of November 2022, the mine was destroyed by missile attacks. It appeared that the mine was previously flooded in April 2022.
