Background

Termocartagena was owned and operated by Enel Colombia before December 1, 2023, when all Termocartagena assets and its operation were transferred to SMN Termocartagena S.A.S.[8] The sale of Termocartagena responds to Enel Colombia's strategy of shifting is focus to renewable projects in the country.[8]
