Chaozhou LNG Terminal (Huafeng), also known as 华丰潮州LNG储配站, 潮州闽粤经济合作区LNG储配站, and 华丰中天潮州LNG储配站, is an LNG import terminal in China with units that are shelved (inferred 2 y) and shelved (confirmed).

Background
Chaozhou LNG Terminal (华丰中天潮州LNG储配站, 潮州闽粤经济合作区LNG储配站) is an LNG terminal under construction in Chaozhou, Guangdong, China.
April 28, 2016, the project was approved by the former Raoping County Environmental Protection Bureau.[10]
The two storage tanks were completed in July 2018. The sponsor and operator is a joint venture Guangdong Huafeng Zhongtian LNG Co., Ltd. (广东华丰中天液化天然气有限公司), owned by Sinoenergy (55%) and Huafeng Group (45%).[11]
The supporting gas pipeline which will transport the natural gas from the LNG terminal to eastern Guangdong and Pearl River Delta region began construction in June 2020. It will share the pipeline with nearby Huaying Chaozhou LNG Terminal.[12] The upgrade of the supporting port has been approved by the local authority.[13]
The project is seeking the environmental impact assessment approval again in 2022 due to significant changes of the project. It will add gasification facilities on the site comparing to the original plan of LNG tank wagon transportation only.[14]
As of January 30, 2022, the onshore works of Phase 1 were nearly completed, and jetty construction began.[15]
As of December 8, 2025, the project is still under construction and not yet operational.[16]
