Cheji Coal Mine started construction in October 1992 and was officially produced on December 29, 1999, with a 1.8 million tons/year design production capacity and an 82.5 years design service life. The approved production capacity in 2009 was 2.8 million tons/year. [2] The approved production capacity in 2019 was 2.8 million tons/year. [3]
