Background

Chengmai LNG Terminal (华电澄迈LNG接收站) is a proposed LNG terminal in Hainan, China. The Chengmai County Government signed an agreement with Huadian Fuxin Energy Company, Ltd. in 2014, officiating the development of the Chengmai LNG Terminal.

As of 2018, there has been no further news about the project in four years, and it is considered cancelled.
