Chengshan Coal Mine Shaft(鸡西矿业(集团)有限责任公司城山煤矿立井) is an underground coal mine located in Minqiang Street, Chengzihe District, Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province, China.[1]

Coal Mine Background

Chengshan Coal Mine Shaft is operated by Jixi Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. It is a modern mine with a 2.4 million tons/year design production capacity.[2] The approved production capacity in 2019 was 1.9 million tons/year.[3]

On April 25, 2015, a major transportation accident occurred in Chengshan Coal Mine, resulting in three deaths.[4] At 0:30 on May 19, 2018, a transportation accident occurred in Chengshan Coal Mine Shaft, and a miner died.[1]
