China Coal Guangyuan power station (中煤广元燃煤电一体化项目) is an operating power station of at least 1000-megawatts (MW) in Baolun Town, Lizhou District, Guangyuan, Sichuan, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating.

Background
The power station is part of the China Coal Guangyuan Coal-electricity Integration Project, intending to strengthen the Sichuan provincial electricity supply[8].
The feasibility study of the project was passed in April 2023[9].
On 20 July 2023, Sichuan Province Development and Reform Commission granted the project a permit (Chuan Fa Gai Neng Yuan〔2023〕No.366) to build, making it the first permitted coal-fired power station since the 13th Five-Year-Plan in Sichuan province.[10][11][12][13][14]
The first concrete was poured on 15 May 2024.[15] Unit 1 boiler steel hoisting began in November 2024. By March 2026, the unit was in the commissioning phase, targeting commercial operation by 28 June 2026.[16]
Unit 2 heat treatment tenders were issued in 2025. It's currently under construction with expected completion after Unit 1.
