Background

Chongqing Longqiao power station is a 3 units coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 400 MW in Chongqing Municipality. The units was completed in 2014.[1][2][3][4]

Proposed expansion

An additional 3 units, units 4-6 totaling 240 MW, is also proposed.[2][1]

However, with no developments since 2014, the additional units appear shelved.
