Coastal Maharashtra Power

Coastal Maharashtra Power is the company which was established to develop the Girye Ultra Mega Power Project, a 4,000 megawatt coal-fired power station proposed to be built at in Maharashtra, India.

The company was initially established as a special purpose company created by the Indian government's Power Finance Corporation (PFC) to develop the project.[1] According to the PFC's website, as of February 2012, the project has not yet been awarded to any bidder.[2]
