Background

The pipelines will deliver natural gas from the Viking Gas Transmission in Minnesota, USA to customers in Hillsboro and Mayville, North Dakota, USA.[1][2]

In March 2021, the construction of the pipeline was reportedly ahead of schedule.[3] The pipeline is also intended for an expansion into North Dakota.

According to Energy Information Administration, the construction of the project was completed in August 2021.[1]
