Dalmia Power

Dalmia Power is the power business of Dalmia Bharat Group, an Indian cement and sugar company which is seeking to diversify into building and owning power generation assets.

The Bihar State Investment Promotion Board lists the company as proposing to build the Dona power station, a proposed 1320 megawatt coal-fired power station in Bihar.[1] On its website Dalmia Power states that it has "nearly 4000 MW of coal based thermal power projects are under incubation in various states in India."[2]
