Background
Dandong Jinshan power station is a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 600 MW in Liaoning Province. The plant was completed in 2012, and is owned by China Huadian.[1][2]
The permission for Phase II expansion was granted on 29 October 2024[3]. Biddings for equipment[4], design[5], and EPC[6][7] were active throughout 2025. Construction had been scheduled to start in September 2025[7].
