Background
The company was named by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment for tampering with and falsifying monitoring data. On January 18, 2021, the People's Court of Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province, sentenced Longjiang Steel to a fine of 8 million Chinese yuan for environmental pollution.[1]
