Dar es Salaam power station
The Dar es Salaam power station is a proposed 400-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power station in Tanzania.
The map below shows the location of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, but not the exact location of the Dar es Salaam power station.
In August 2011, executive chairman of Australia-based Intra Energy Corporation (IEC) Graeme Robertson said that the company was considering a 400 MW coal plant in Dar es Salaam and a 400MW power plant in Mbeya, sometime in 2013-2018.
However, as of 2016 the project is not mentioned on company's "Tanzania Projects" page, and appears to be abandoned.
