The Dar es Salaam power station is a proposed 400-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power station in Tanzania.

In August 2011, executive chairman of Australia-based Intra Energy Corporation (IEC) Graeme Robertson said that the company was considering a 400 MW coal plant in Dar es Salaam and a 400MW power plant in Mbeya, sometime in 2013-2018.[1]

However, as of 2016 the project is not mentioned on company's "Tanzania Projects" page, and appears to be abandoned.[2]
