Background

The two existing coal-fired units of Datang Baoji power station, totaling 660 MW, were brought online in 2009. The plant is owned by China Datang.[1]

Proposed expansion

China Datang has proposed expanding the power station by two units of 350 MW each.[2]

However, with no developments since August 2015, the project appears to be abandoned.
