Background

Gaojing power station was a six-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 600 MW. The plant was completed between 1961 and 1974, and was owned by Datang. It was shut down in 2014.[6]

The Datang Beijing Gaojing Thermal power station is fired power plant and commissioned in 2014. The plant was developed to replace the coal-fired units.[7]
