Datang Foshan Gas power station (大唐佛山燃气发电站) is an operating power station of at least 800-megawatts (MW) in Foshan, Gaoming District, Guangdong, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating. It is also known as Datang Foshan Gaoming Gas Power Station.

Background

In February 2018, the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission approved the Phase 1 project (Unit 1 and Unit 2). [13]In July 2022, Unit 1 began operation, and in November 2022, Unit 2 commenced operation.[14]

The Phase 2 project (Unit 3 and Unit 4) is expected to commence construction in May 2022, with two units scheduled for commercial operation by February 2024. However, there has been no follow-up information available since July 2020.[15]
