Background on Project

China Datang has proposed a 2 x 350 MW residential CHP plant for Huailai County, Zhangjiakou. The project is seeking permitting.[1]

In January 2017 the provincial EPA rejected the project's EIA.[2]

As of May 2020 there have been no further developments on the project, which appears to be cancelled.
