Delaware Basin Crude Gathering Pipeline was a proposed oil pipeline in the United States. There have been no updates since 2017, and the project is presumed to be shelved.

Location

The pipeline originates at receipt points located in Reeves County, Texas and Lea County, New Mexico and terminates at delivery points in Loving County, Texas and Lea County, New Mexico.

Background

On August 5, 2015, Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. announced that its affiliate, ETP Crude LLC, would commence an Open Season for a new pipeline, the Delaware Basin Crude Gathering Pipeline, that would have the capacity to accept up to approximately 120,000 barrels per day of crude oil from receipt points located in Reeves County, Texas and Lea County, New Mexico for transportation to delivery points in Loving County, Texas and Lea County, New Mexico.

The project will consist of three separate gathering systems totaling 130 miles of pipeline, which will deliver crude oil to Sunoco Pipeline L.P.'s Delaware Basin Extension. * The 70-mile-long McLoving System gathering pipeline will offer a capacity of approximately 90,000 barrels per day and will be located in Reeves and Loving Counties, Texas.

• The 18-mile-long Red Hills System gathering pipeline will offer a capacity of approximately 13,000 barrels per day and will be located in Lea County, New Mexico.
• The 38-mile Shurvesah System gathering pipeline will offer a capacity of approximately 17,000 barrels per day and will be located in Lea County, New Mexico.

As of February 2019 the project no longer appears on ETP's website and appears to have been shelved.
