Background
The Digha–Contai Gas Pipeline would connect the proposed offshore Floating Storage and Re-gasification Unit (FSRU) at Digha to an onshore receiving facility in Contai, West Bengal. India.[1]
The project was announced in January 2019, when H-Energy announced that it would invest 3,700 crore ($556 million) to build a 3 mpta terminal located 115 km off the coast of Digha, West Bengal.[3]
There have been no development updates in over four years and the project is presumed to be cancelled.
