According to the pipeline builder's website: The project was aimed at regulating gas pressure of Torbat Heydariyeh County, Khorasan Razavi Province, as well as supplying gas for Torbat Heydariyeh Steel Mill. The pipeline is a branch of main 48-inch line which starts near Dizbad Village, south of Mashhad-Neyshabur Road which continues as a 12-inch line over a flat route up to Robat-e-Sang Village to supply gas for Torbat Heydariyeh Steel Mill, and finally after passing a mountainous route, the pipeline joins 12-inch Torbat Heydariyeh-Kashmar pipeline near Abbasabad.[1]
