Background

Dongfeng Xiangfan Factory power station is a three-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 150 MW. The units were completed in 1984-1994, and are owned by Dongfeng Motor Corporation. It powers the Dongfeng Automobile Shiyan plant.[1]

The plant was retired in the end of 2018.[2][3] The Inspection and acceptance of its retirement was done in 2020.[4]
