The map below shows the construction site for the plant in Heze city.
Background on Plant
China Resources Power Holdings and Shandong Dongming Petrochemistry, along with the Dongming Government, have proposed a power station of two units of 350 MW each in Heze city. The environmental impact assessment was submitted in 2014.[1][2]
The plant was permitted in November 2015 and construction was reported in December 2015.[3] However, satellite imagery through May 2018 show only land clearing, not plant construction.
There was no further news on the plant until 2020, when Shandong Dongming Petrochemistry took over the project from China Resources and began construction.[4]
