Background

Dongying–Linyi Parallel Oil Pipeline 东临输油管道复线 (东营-临邑)

In September 1998, this pipeline was officially put into operation. It is an important part of the crude oil pipeline network in East China, transporting Shengli crude oil and a portion of the imported crude oil offloaded at the Huangdao Oil Terminal. Through connections with other pipelines, it supplies crude oil to Luoyang Petrochemical, Jinan Refining & Chemical, and various refining enterprises along the Yangtze River.^[2]

Dongying–Linyi Parallel Oil Pipeline Rerouting Project 东临(复)线原油管道改线工程

In 2022, the project was approved. It serves as a supporting project for the relocation of the Dongying Oil Transfer Station and involves rerouting the outbound section of the Dongying–Linyi Parallel Oil Pipeline. The pipeline is currently under construction, with the exact start date unknown.^[1]^[4]^[5]
