The Dudhichua coal mine is an opencast mine, operated by Northern Coalfields Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India, in Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh, India.[1]
The mine previously had a 2 million tonne expansion plan in 2018, but in response to a right of information request in 2021, the mine is not listed by the Government of India as an active new mine project. The proposal presumably went into operation.[2]
