Background
From 2016-2020, the Vac plant underwent significant modernization in order to reduce emissions. The modernization included replacement of the electrofilter oven filter with a more efficient bag filter, reduction of carbon petroleum coke fuel use, instead using alternative fuels, construction of a 1000 square meter alternative fuel storage hall, and the implementation of an automatic replacement fuel storage and dosing technology line.
