Background
Eagle Seam Deep Mine is an underground mine in Logan County, West Virginia, operated by Ramaco Resources as a part of its Elk Creek Complex.[5] Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content
In 2014, Ramaco Resources received a permit to build the underground mine on their Elk Creek complex. The construction was completed in 2016[6], and the mine started production in 2017.[5]
In 2020, Eagle Seam Deep Mine produced 0.5 million tons and had 52 employees.[5] As of 2020, Elk Creek complex had 113 million tons in reserves, 68 million proven and 45 million probable.[7]
