The pipeline runs from the Goldfields Gas Pipeline in Western Australia through the lateral pipeline at the Murrin Murrin nickel mine, then to the Tropicana gold mine 330 kilometers northeast of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.

Background

The Eastern Goldfields Pipeline System is operated and owned by APA Group.[1] The original Eastern Goldfields Pipeline was built to enable the Tropicana Gold Mine and Sunrise Dam Gold Mine to use natural gas as their primary power source.[2]
