Etzel-Wardenburg-Drohne Gas Pipeline is an operating gas pipeline network in Germany.

Location

The pipeline has two segments, the first runs from Etzel to Wardenburg in Lower Saxony. The second runs from Wardenburg to Drohne in North Rhine-Westphalia.[1]

Background

The pipeline is to built to increase the capacity along the NETRA pipeline route. They will run parallel to existing sections of the Wardenburg-Werne and NETRA pipelines. Two new sections of pipeline are under construction and were originally scheduled for completion in 2026, but received approval for an earlier start and are now expected to e finished in 2026.[4]
