Ezz Flat Steel Ain Sokhna plant (حديد عز (Arabic)), also known as EFS, is a direct reduced iron-electric arc furnace (DRI-EAF) steel plant operating in Ain Sokhna, Suez, Egypt.

Background

The Ezz Flat Steel Ain Sokhna plant started operating in 1998. In early 2022, the company announced its plant to establish its second melt shop with a planned start date in early 2023. This expansion will add a range of 1.5 million tonnes to the company's capacity. [1]
