Background
The FGE Texas Project (FGE Texas I and FGE Texas II) represents over $1.2 billion of direct investment in Mitchell County and the State of Texas.[6] The thermal project is currently in the process of receiving permits. The commercial operation of the project is expected to begin in 2025.[7]
