Background on Project

China Datang said it was planning to build a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 700 MW in Liaoning Province.[1][2]

However, the last news of the proposed plant was in 2010[3] and it was not listed in the Liaoning Province Twelfth Five Year Plan.[4] The proposed plant was likely cancelled.
